In August 2023, I was diagnosed with bone marrow cancer and began nine months of weekly chemotherapy, followed by two years of monthly bone-strengthening infusions.
René’s daily post became a lifeline, drawing me into deeper intimacy with God and strengthening my faith. These one-minute truth bombs are like favourite spanners in the toolbox - helping to fix the stinking thinking and reminding me to trust a God who is “too good to be unkind and too wise to be mistaken.”
When the cancer was discovered, I was told I had weeks at worst and months at most to live.
Yet here I am - working again, designing F1 cars and motorbikes, trusting God for a future and a glorious ending.
